Sometimes it's not a bad thing to be selfish. That time slot is entirely devoted to you and no one else. When you take care of yourself, you can handle challenges that your day throws at you. My workout before I start the day is a great way to clear my mind. Sweat it out and take care of me before I have to care of everyone else.


Taking care of yourself and your health proves to your loved ones that you love them, you’re able to do so much more with your friends, kids, grandkids, spouse, or whomever you spend your time with.


If you're anything like me, you're easily consumed and overwhelmed with your day. You desire just a moment for yourself to just..breathe! I Know.


Working out though has been an escape for me, I use the last bit of energy that I have for myself. That hour-two hours are mine. Where I focus on myself and focus on my goals.


Taking care of yourself is so important, for some of us it seems so much easier to give bits and pieces of ourselves to everyone in our lives, yet when it comes to us. We simply just can't find the time.


If working out in the morning is the only time you can find for yourself.. Do it!


If working out after work is the only time you can find for yourself..Do it!


Lunch time? DO IT!


I guarantee you will finish your workout feeling so energized and feeling like you're a completely different person.


Don't use "I'm too tired" as an excuse, because you will always be tired, unmotivated, busy, or whatever your excuse is.


Here's a thought.. How can you look after the ones you love if you're not around?

By working on yourself first and working on your health you can dramatically increase your life expectancy, so that you can be around for all the birthdays and holidays for years to come!


Make yourself your top priority and be as selfish as possible when it comes to your health.


Make a plan, whether that means squeezing in your workout into your busy schedule, planning your workout routine for that day, setting a reminder to workout at a certain time, or working out as soon as the kids are off to school.


Keep yourself accountable and stop putting it off for the next day or the next year because the longer you wait to start, the harder it gets.
